Do you guys like this story? Did you guys have a takeaway from it? Do you think there is a moral or a life lesson the author is trying to communicate to his readers?
I thought this was an interesting story. Not sure if I like it because I felt foolish that I didn’t see the end coming. Perhaps the author was trying to show us that things are not always as they seem.
I didn't like the story very much but I thought it was an interesting read. I think that the author might have been trying to show us what pride can do to oneself.
I didn't enjoy the story very much because, the author made you think that Payton escaped and would be able to see his family again, but really he was dying .

ReplyDeleteThat's a good point of view Jonas! And branching off your idea, maybe the author was saying, things are NEVER how they seem.
ReplyDeleteI thought the story was interesting to see from the villain's perspective and I enjoyed it for that reason.
